Storage

At its disposal, DCL has modern, close-space warehouse facilities of medium size multi-storing capacities and a high technical standard. They are equipped with a new pallet-rack system by Wandalex Feralco S.A., which meets the following requirements:

1. the possibility of quick level change of pallet seatings
2. the possibility of assembling of additional, higher levels of storage
3. easy control over the tidiness of the stored goods
4. compliance with the sanitary requirements
5. tight security of the service of the stored goods
6. low costs of the storage adaptation to the customer's requirements
7. fixed localisations of the stock keeping units

and with a system of shelf-racks by PROMAG S.A. complying with the following criteria:

1. shelf-racks are designed to store goods of different kind, which are either deposited in holders or cartons or stored without containers,
2. they are very suitable for the storage of products which are developed in various industry sectors such as cosmetics, pharmaceuticals as well as electronic and electrotechnical sectors,
3. easy control over the tidiness of the stored goods
4. ompliance with the sanitary requirements
5. ight security of the service of the stored goods
6. fixed localisations of the stock keeping units

All the storage rooms have temperature control zones and are equipped with an efficient ventilation system by Robur ( Italy ) .

All of our storage rooms are served by Yale electrical lift trucks exclusively, which enables us to keep the working area clean.

 

Distribution

In the field of distributional logistics, our strategic partner is SPEDPOL Sp. z o.o. , which offers services in the area of shipment of various consignments : parcels, general cargo, LCL (less than a container load) and FCL shipments.

• An integrated IT System

In cooperation with CONGLOMO software engineering GmbH, DCL has implemented one of the latest software solutions in the area of integrated logistic systems which use Client/ Server and XHTML architecture technology. Thus created virtual storage offers our customers transparency in storage of the goods using standard solutions such as on-line access through the Internet and the Internet browsers. Employing a customer-friendly interface of the Internet browser, which operates on-line, we have set up a "virtual warehouse", which provides for a strict control over the goods flow.

 

Safety

Our warehouses as well as office facilities are monitored in a non-stop mode by Firma Ochrony Mienia Reflex II Sp. z o.o. Dolnosląskie Centrum Logistyczne has been insured by ERGO HESTIA. The policy covers:

1. goods (up to PLN 2.500.000 per item)
2. facilities and building structures
3. cash transported or carried
4. appliances, devices, tools and equipment
